A leading retail/wholesale business based in Central London is currently recruiting as Assistant Financial Controller to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly/Recently qualified accountant looking for a varied role as you will be responsible for management/financial accounting and financial analysis.

Reporting into the Financial Controller your responsibilities include prepare monthly board pack and commentary; preparation of key channel P&Ks; monthly overhead analysis; budgeting and forecasting; sales and margin reporting; KPI reporting; fixed asset accounting; monthly reconciliation of all balance sheets accounts; oversee tax compliance including liaising with external tax advisors; responsible for statutory audit process including preparation of audit file and statutory accounts; business partnering on required projects.

The successful candidate would be newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent. Experience of working within the retail/wholesale sector would be ideal.
