Marks Sattin is working on an exceptional role based in West Yorkshire where a client is recruiting for an Assistant IT Audit Manager.

Working as part of a team, you will be number 2 to the IT Audit Manager and play a crucial part in formulating a strategic plan to develop the team as well as the IT Audit plan. With a growing portfolio of responsibility, this role will continue to grown as further relationships with the IT team evolve.

In the position, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering timely and quality delivery of the audit plan in line with audit methodology through oversight of Lead Auditors and Audit Teams.
• Impact and influence senior Group IT management to improve the IT control environment and reduce material IT risks.
• Participate in special reviews and investigations as and when required

• Maintain and develop knowledge of IT practices and processes relating to the IT audit universe
• SME on IT and share knowledge across the Risk Management Function

Ideally you will hold a professional qualification and have sound IT audit experience. You will have the ability to discuss matters with conviction and confidence with senior stakeholders.
