A small asset manager is looking for an assistant accountant to join initially on a 3 month contract with a potential to go permanent.

You will be reporting into the head of finance and operations assisting in the producing of management accounts, VAT returns and providing support to the analyst team.

Main responsibilities will include

• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• Reconciling the purchase and sales ledger
• prepayments and accruals
• End of month analysis of expenses
• Ad hoc tasks

Requirements:

• You will be part qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent or finalist
• Strong understanding of due diligence
• Working in the financial services is preferable

This role is ideal for someone who is currently working within the financial services with 1-3 years experince looking for progression. Early application is advised due to the urgent nature of the role.
