A leading construction organisation are actively looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join their head office finance team in Central London.

Working as part of a team of 8 and reporting into the company Financial Controller you will assist with the monthly management accounts for review.

Duties include:

• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparing and processing month end journals, accruals, prepayments
• Raising sales invoices, processing invoices and making payments
• Assist with the production of month end P&L reports and balance sheet
• Ad hoc duties

The business is renowned for its training and development and the progression opportunities they promotes within the business.

The successful candidate will be studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) and will have worked in a similar position. Experience in the construction sector is advantageous however not essential.
