Business Analyst (contract)

An international Law Firm are seeking a Business Analyst to be based at its prestigious headquarters in the City initially a 6month contract.

The main remit of the role will be to work on various projects, and to define requirements for all new systems and projects.

The Successful candidate will have an understanding of the legal industry and ideally experience working with Law Firms or proffessional services experience.

Responsibilities

  • To analyse, map and evaluate the current business processes and working practices across the entire firm and the systems that support them.
  • Making recommendations for improvement and change where necessary
  • Identifying emerging solutions and technologies that will help contribute to a cycle of continual improvements across the firm
  • To work closely with other members of the Business Change & Strategy teams to help ensure that new systems / projects are implemented in such a way that they deliver the expected benefits for the Firm. This includes Organisational Change Management elements of project delivery
  • Understanding the needs of the firm in relation to the performance of elements of the business and the provision of commercial solutions.
  • Actively engaging with senior stakeholders across the organization

Skills

  • Process mapping for key business processes
  • Change and project management methodologies
  • Experience of working within a large IT team and IT expertise
  • Legal experience or professional services experience
  • Engagement working with intapp or other professional services platforms preferred
