Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a large blue chip organisation on the outskirts of Solihull to recruit a Business Intelligence Manager on a permanent basis.

The Business Intelligence Manager will oversee an Analyst. With the organisation going through a time of growth there will be the potential to grow the team further.

The Business Intelligence Manager will analyse data and present this to the Senior Leadership team to track performance and aid key decision making across the Group.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Manager include:

• Ensuring reporting systems are developed and maintained
• Support the Business Intelligence Analyst, providing supervision and leadership
• Analysing and reporting business performance, results and other KPI's
• Liaise with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure activities are well communicated when developing performance tracking solutions
• Managing the SQL data warehouse
• Work closely with the Commercial Finance and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams to improve existing dashboards
• Attend relevant meetings with Senior Leaders providing commentary, influencing and negotiating where necessary
• Manage and develop Power BI
• Ensuring processes are automated or more efficient where possible in order to reduce existing manual processes

To be considered you must:

• Have experience in a similar role
• Have good communications skills with the ability to interpret information to individuals and teams in non-analytic roles
• Have SQL experience and an understanding of ETL processes
• Have experience of Power BI
• Be a strong Microsoft Excel User, Visual Basic experiecne
• Highly analytical and mathematical
