I am currently working with a house hold name fashion retailer based in Central London who are looking to recruit for a Chief Accountant role.

The role will be assisting the Head of Finance in the running of the financial accounting function for the UK and Ireland, including full review of the P&L. Further responsibilities include day to day management of a team of four financial accountants, quarterly control of VAT rates and being the main point of contact for the consolidation department with any reporting or accounting requirements including intercompany reconciliations. You will also be responsible for the companies fixed assets, payroll reconciliations and IFRS adjustments.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent and will ideally have experience in the retail sector.
