Working for this global Prime Brokerage firm based in the heart of the City you will have oversight of the implementation and execution of the strategic business initiatives by Finance, HR, Risk, Corporate Governance. Responsible for the effectiveness of the decision-making process in those areas and manage overall resourcing.

  • Liaison between CEO and department leaders, executives, on company culture, team engagement and progression, project updates, planning and initiatives;
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries coming from department leaders of Finance, Risk, HR and Corporate Governance, developing action plan and assisting with communications;
  • Review and improve current processes and organisational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity of the company, building and promoting synergy within relevant functions across all locations;
  • Define new operational strategies based on the business initiatives, working with CEO and department leaders on design, implementation and execution;
  • Review, design, and execute on improvements to org structure of support units (Finance, HR, Corporate governance, Risks); identify skills and competences gaps and address those through coaching, training and development;
  • Maintain the firm's Management Responsibilities Map, making changes when required, obtaining Exco approval for material updates and ensuring most up to date version is published on Sharepont;
  • Working closely with the compliance department, and ensuring regulatory compliance across support areas;
  • Responsible for ESG strategy.

You MUST have the following:

  • Degree in Business Administration/HR/Corporate Governance/Project Management or similar field;
  • 10+ year's experience in a project management, business or executive management role;
  • Consulting experience with the operations management focus;
  • Proven experience planning and leading strategic initiatives, experience in a large financial institution is an advantage;
  • Proven experience of managing employee relations;
  • Strong leadership skills;
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory regime;
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate governance principles and practices framework;
  • Excellent understanding of operational and budget planning;
  • Strong project reporting skills, with cross-functional focus on efficiency, productivity and consistent business development;
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Strong organisational skills.
