Currently recruiting a fantastic Commercial Finance Manager position for 9 months to cover a period of maternity leave, this is a very well established business that is at the forefront of the FMCG sector. The business has a number of household brands in their portfolio and has an international presence with a number of sites across the UK, this position is highly visible across the group and will play a pivotal part in the continued growth and success of the business.

As the Commercial Finance Manager you will be responsible for driving the business forward and increasing profitability across the various divisions. You will play a key part in the continuous improvement of processes and you must have FMCG or manufacturing experience. Please see below a snapshot of responsibilities:

• Management of Commercial Finance team throughout the group
• Preparation, analysis and commentary relating to key sales performance indicators
• Decision support - including attending meetings throughout the group in order to ensure appropriate commercial governance across the business
• Assisting with supervision of weekly and monthly reporting
• Overall responsibility for bridging between the sales and back office finance team to ensure that customer debit notes are processed in a timely manner
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts

You must be a qualified accountant with experience working in a manufacturing environment across both commercial and operations. Strong stakeholder management is a must with advanced excel skills a huge advantage.
