Commercial Finance Manager

We are currently working with a private equity backed, industry leading national business to find them a new Commercial Finance Manager who will be based at their site in Hull! This role is newly created and has been trialled and tested at another site already this year!

As a Commercial Finance Manager, the main responsibility for this role is to support the General Manager and offer effective and commercial support to aid decision making processes.

More about the role

• Challenge business and commercial decisions to ensure correct action is taken
• Development and distribution of weekly/daily reporting across the business
• Commercial Business Partnering service to the GMs and P&L holders as required
• Support new tenders and projects across the business
• Month end reporting and KPI reporting in line with business standard requirements
• Preparation of CapEX applications and monitor of spend
• Analysis of revenues and customer spend

What we are looking for

• A fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA or equivalent)
• Good IT knowledge
• Previous experience of management and commercial accounting either in industry or practice
• Excellent attention to detail with an analytical approach to solving problems
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• An enthusiastic and driven personality
