Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a Credit Manager based on the outskirts of Leeds! The client is an internationally known brand who are looking for a candidate with past experience of writing Credit policies, implementing debt management framework and developing appropriate controls.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Credit Manager, to form and implement a full Credit function from pretty much scratch, and have a real impact on a £1 billion + turnover company!

This role will pay up to £45,000 + 15% bonus with hybrid working (3 days home, 2 days office per week).

The role will have 2 direct reports and 2 indirect reports and report to a AR Finance Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Build improve and deliver reporting for debt, cash receipts, unallocated cash, and credit insurance
• Monitor team resources to identify and timeline future recruitment requirements
• Exemplify the team ethos of continuous improvement
• Deliver first class service to our clients, and great collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Ensure detailed process notes are created and maintained for all team activities, and review regularly for improvement opportunities.
• Ensure appropriate controls are in place and understood. Monitor compliance and seek to improve any areas of weakness
• Represent client in client facing negotiations, design and propose payment plans as necessary.
• Minimise bad debt by early intervention from monitoring payment performance trends
• Identify areas of training / development to benefit team performance
