Start your job searchThe Investment Banking division of a global financial services company is actively looking to hire at director level in Credit Sales on their Institutional Sales desk in London. The sales desk is responsible for the distribution of corporate bonds, credit derivatives and other debt products.
They are looking to supplement the team with an experienced sales person with an impressive track record in fixed income markets. The candidate should have a well established book of business, be highly motivated and be entrepreneurial and pro-active in expanding client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Distribution of high grade fixed income (cash, CDS, private placements, and preferred stock) into European clients
- Dissemination of all relevant internal information regarding trading flows, trade proposals, pricing levels, corporate research recommendations and relevant new issue dynamics
- Work effectively with Fixed Income specialists in coordinating overall client relationships within the bank
- Coordination and participation in client presentations and conferences as well as initiate direct ongoing dialogue between the customer base and traders, research and DCM/syndicate
- Providing KYC updates
- Managing the documentation approval processes
- Liaising with legal and our documentation teams
Requirements
- Investment grade sales experience or trading experience in corporate bonds, credit derivatives and other debt products.
- Preferably an MBA in Finance or Marketing
- Registration with FSA as an Investment Advisor (CF350)
- Extensive list of references from institutional buy side accounts
- Language fluency in French, German or Spanish is preferable
