Start your job searchA start-up supporting global FS clients with their commercial transactions looking to recruit a dynamic and entrepreneurial Part Qualified Management Accountant to join this new finance team in the City offices.
To succeed, you'll be resilient to continual change, open to ambiguity and able to take full ownership to translate some big ideas from concept to production. You will work across all aspects of Finance for the EMEA subsidiary, and this position will report directly to the Finance Manager (qualified accountant).
You will need to demonstrate strong accounting and analytical skills, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Your Responsibilities:
- production of month end management accounts including P&L and Balance sheet with supporting commentary
- be responsible for transactional level postings across the GL accounts
- retain responsibility for ensuring Intercompany accounts reconcile across the EMEA region
- supporting the finance manager in the provision of accurate and timely monthly financials to senior management, providing analysis and projections of current and future performance
- support the production of an annual plan and longer term 3 year plan for the EMEA region
- contribute towards the preparation and filing of annual accounts for the EMEA region
- ensure all direct and indirect tax returns are completed, filed and paid on time
Your Requirements:
- a minimum of 2:1 degree at University back up with strong Academic record
- be at Part Qualified status of ACCA or CIMA
- prior experience working in a similar role, or multi-currency international company environment
- strong IT skills, with some experience implementing new systems
- articulate, motivated with a commitment to innovation in pursuit of business growth and success
