A start-up advertising business located in Central London is looking to expand the team and hire a Finance Assistant to join the team.

Working in a small team of four, you will be responsible for the following:

• ownership of accounts payable: matching, batching and coding weekly invoices; preparing weekly payments; monitoring AP inbox and responding to queries; setting up new suppliers on the system.
• ownership of accounts receivable: raising sales invoices; allocating cash received to the appropriate account; chasing overdue payments by phone and email.
• other tasks: assisting with weekly bank reconciliations; assisting with general ledger reconciliations; ad hoc filing and administration.

Ideally you will have some prior experience within finance, but training will be provided. This role would suit someone who is looking to begin a career in finance and/or is starting a professional qualification such as ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
