An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high growth leading retail business that has enjoyed impressive sales and profit growth. A burgeoning fashion SME, the brand is looking for a commercially astute Finance Director to grow and develop overall management and business information. The company is a fast paced, dynamic retailer that is on the upward trajectory looking for a candidate with a strong passion for fashion and highly analytical.
The Role
As number one in finance, the role will be suited to a precise, analytical thinker with an eye for close detailed work. Key responsibilities and major function of the role will be to set up KPI management, product costing and logistics monitoring, as well as establishing analytics for supply chain, distribution and sourcing. With a growing reputation in their sector for quality product, this young and dynamic brand needs a commercially orientated FD to take sole responsibility for the finance function and help steer the business through its expansion.
The Candidate
Working alongside the founders, the FD will be not only an exceptional and qualified accountant, but also hands-on and commercially aware. They will have an appetite for working across the business in order to play a key role in the delivery of information and to support significant growth in the coming years. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, preferably chartered (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), ideally having trained within PE corporate finance or transaction services within a firm of accountants. Upwards of three years experience in a commercial or consumer retail environment is preferable.
