A high-growth business within the healthcare space - The business has grown rapidly over the last few years and is looking for a new Finance Manager to support senior management and the wider team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Production of the monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow)
  • Present management reporting packs to company shareholders and directors
  • Cashflow management and forecasting
  • Budgeting & Forecasting processes
  • Manage and develop the Accounts Assistant in the team and oversee their work
  • Oversight of month end journals including accruals and prepayments, and accrued revenue journals
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Manage banking relationships.
  • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable function including overseeing payment runs, reconciliations, client onboarding, billing, credit control and more.
  • Managing the payroll process for permanent and contractor employees, including journals, PAYE returns, setting up new starters, process changes/ levers, bonuses etc.
  • Complete quarterly VAT returns
  • Statutory filings - provide back up for annuals accounts, confirmation statements, tax returns
  • Additional ad-hoc duties and analysis to support the wider team and business

The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or be qualified by experience. Candidates should have good working knowledge of management reporting and broad finance experience from an SME background would be beneficial. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, with good cash flow management and Excel capabilities. Knowledge and experience of payroll would be beneficial but is not essential.
