Role: Finance Manager - Group Reporting and Management Accounts

The role is responsible for developing a highly efficient, flexible and responsive reporting and management accounts team for the group finance function. The role also requires you to provide high quality technical expertise and plays a key role in delivering accurate, relevant and timely reporting and a strong financial control environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the reporting and management accounts team for the group
• Lead and manage the production of all group internal and statutory financial reporting ensuring accuracy, adherence to deadlines, technical and business relevance
• Work with the tax accountant to ensure statutory responsibilities are met to a high standard and compliance risks to the group are minimised
• Lead and manage the production of central and IT accounts and reporting and partner with the central functions and IT to ensure accuracy and production of actionable insight.
• Lead and own the production of the group insurance renewal, working closely with sire and operational finance teams
• Manage the Groups Finance strategy with the sites, assisting in development of accounting and financial policy and undertaking centralisation where appropriate to allow sites to focus on commercial value add
• Day to day lead for the external audit, managing the relationship with the audit team and other professional services providers as required
• Lead acquisition integration for the team
• Deputise for the group Financial Controller where business needs require

Requirements

• ACA qualified or equivalent (+ post qualified experience either within industry or practice)
• Some audit experience in your background
• Able to work to tight deadlines and remain motivated
• Strong technical finance skills
• Ability to work proactively or as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
