Our client, a successful, well established business in the international logistics industry are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team.

Reporting into the Financial Controller and with a team of 3 your key responsibilities will include the following:-

• Managing the Accounts Payable, Receivable and Financial Accounting functions to ensure all transactional processing is accurate and completed in a timely fashion.
• Liaising with key suppliers and manufacturers regarding stock rebates, commission, contra transactions, credit notes and queries
• Monthly stock and GRNI reconciliations across the business divisions
• Reviewing and preparing other balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month end process
• Preparation of monthly intercompany reconciliations
• Providing absence cover for payroll manager
• P&L analysis of key business divisions to ensure accuracy of underlying transactions and comparing versus prior periods and budget
• Assist with preparation of External Audit files and tax computation information for year end reporting
• Responsible for ad hoc external reporting including bank requirements and National Statistics
• Maximise functionality of nominal ledger system and make improvements to current processes, constantly seeking efficiencies

You will be an experienced Finance Manager who can demonstrate a real aptitude around coaching and developing team members to ensure they perform to their full potential. Furthermore, a background in the retail, manufacturing or logistics industry is desirable, as is strong expertise in stock accounting.
