Seeking a Finance Manager for a 3-6-month contract within a real estate company based in Central London. The company are a property management and lettings agency managing a broad portfolio of private residential, commercial, retail, and industrial property. Looking for someone familiar with concept of different entities and client companies, intercompany recharges. Ideally you would have experience in the property/real estate spaces and if you had exposure to 're-leased' it would be very desirable.
Job title: Finance Manager
Contract: 3-6-month contract (Potential Temp to Perm for right candidate)

Hours: Full Time, office hours 9-5
Software: Xero, re-leased
Days in the office: 5 days in per week
Responsibilities:
- Experienced Book-keeper level
- Xero Accounts System Super User
- Experience working in a Lettings or Property Management Company
- Always ensuring that financial activities comply with Accounting standards and financial reporting regulations
- Working with external Accountants to prepare and file Statutory Accounts and related Tax Returns including CT61, VAT Returns and Non-Resident Landlord Returns
- Responsible for managing Sales Ledger Clerk and Purchase Ledger Clerk
- Post all incoming rent/other payments in Xero daily
- Post all incoming rent payments on Residential Tenant Database daily
- Weekly Debtors List
- Weekly Creditors List
- Checking Credit Card reconciliations prepared by Purchase Ledger
- Authorising Bank Payments based on Weekly Payment Report prepared by Purchase Ledger
- Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Monthly Deposit Reconciliations
- Monthly Client Reports
- Monthly Operating Reports
- Monthly Intercompany Expenses Reports
- Cash Flow Reports
- Processing Payroll (information provided by external Accountants - not prepared in house)
- Dealing with fixed assets, pre-payments, loan interest reconciliations, depreciation, and accruals
- Allocating Revenue and Capital expenses correctly
- Rent Variance Analysis
- Costs of Sales Analysis
- Provide cover for Sales Ledger Clerk and Purchase Ledger Clerk in case of absence
