Finance Manager - Private Equity

This position sits in the finance team of a well known private equity firm based in the West End. The hiring manager is looking for a qualified accountant, ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with at least 4 years PQE from industry. In terms of experience, financial services is desirable but not essential. The role reports directly into the CFO and is a fantastic, broad, all encompassing finance position - perfect for someone who harbours ambitions of becoming a commercial FD.

The role reports directly into the CFO and will take full responsibility for the corporate accounting function. The CFOhimself is keen to mentor, coach and manage where appropriate; he's a vibrant personality and great line manager to work with.

The role is ultimately responsible for all financial reporting for the management company. This means that good stakeholder management is essential but as is, a strong understanding of finance and operations. This is not a role for someone who wants to step away, rather it is for someone who wants to get stuck in and play a key role in a growing private equity firm. From preparing monthly management accounts to maintaining cash flow corecasts and producing year end statutory accounts, this position is essential to the running of this leading, European investor.
