Start your job searchMarks Sattin is working with a Financial Services client who are looking at improving the Financial Control environment. Working with one of the Senior Operational Managers you will be playing a crucial role in leading the development and capability of the Banking process, ensuring the validity and accuracy or all financial transactions impacting the core systems and general ledger.
In an ideal location for commuting to Leeds, this pivotal role is designed to drive the operational performance of the finance function ensuring all controls and processes are effective and detailed internally.
In the role you will:
- Accountable for developing the capability and capacity of control
- Accountable for implementing all change activity impacting on control teams.
- Conduct regular training needs analysis for operational teams
- Agree and update annual training plan in accordance with wider strategic objectives of Finance Operations
Ideally you will be fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) as you will be pivotal to bringing the finance operational knowledge to the team, however the qualification is not a prerequisite. You will have experience of understating the operational process of banking coupled with the passion and drive to coach/education the wider team.
