Due to growth and exciting times ahead for an extremely sucessful professional services firm we are seeking a financial accountant to join the internal finance team based in Newbury, Berkshire. Reporting to the Finance Director you will have the chance to gain valuable exposure in a commercial role which will stand you in great stead to enhance your career. You will be responsible for assisting with VAT returns, maintaing the daily cash flow report and assist with year end accounts including the production of statutory accounts. You will also look after staff costs where you will maintain control accounts, benefits, gross pay reconciliation, comparison to budget and report back on variances. You will also have the opprtunity to get involved in projects and build on your skill set.

Applicants must be qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA or eqivalent qualification) and be up to date with current accounting standards. Preparation of statutory accounts and strong accurate accounting skills are essential and you must be able to navigate Excel data handling to a high standard.
