Marks Sattin are partnered with a growing business in search for a Financial Accountant to join a growing team based in Theale. This is an opportunity to join a fast paced, progressive team reporting directly into the Financial Controller helping to improve processes and implement solutions whilst working in a hybrid position including balance sheet packs and monthly accountant across multiple divisions.
This role is an ideal opportunity if you are working within an outsourcing department looking to work in industry with a tangible products with long term support and development.
Responsibilities;
- Month end transactional accounting - Reviewing transactions, posting accruals and prepayments to feed into the month end reporting process.
- Production of P&L summaries for each outlet and preparation of monthly Retail management reporting packs Co-ordinate group budget submission.
- Rolling P&L forecasts.
- Balance sheet reconciliations - Produce a monthly Balance sheet pack including own reconciliations and reconciliations produced by other finance staff.
- Standardise reconciliations produced.
- Preparation of monthly UK VAT return.
Profile;
- Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA).
- Management accounting background.
- Ideally with stock or inventory data management exposure.
- Ability to communicate with both financial and non-financial team members
