Start your job searchI am working exclusively with a growing business in North Yorkshire who are looking to introduce a new role in finance due to their rapid company growth.
The vacancy is for a Qualified Accountant that will report into, and acts as the key support for the Company Financial Controller.
The company is an acquisitive business and in essence, the role will be responsible for the post acquisition due diligence.
- Liaising with external advisors on acquisition of new companies, to agree the accounts and the value of the final completion payments.
- Preparation/review of completion accounts, ensuring accurate opening balances are brought into the accounts.
- Calculating fair value adjustments for stock, doubtful debt and dilapidations.
- Monitoring and agreeing appropriation values arising through trade and asset acquisitions.
- Calculating the value of deferred/earn out consideration for those acquisitions where part of the payment is contingent on achieving post acquisition targets.
- Delivery of ad-hoc financial and business projects as agreed with the Senior Management.
The role will suit a qualified accountant from practice who has strong audit experience however, we are also looking to talk to candidates who have some commercial experience in industry within an acquisitive business.
