My client is a well-known Investment Manager based in central London.

They are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team on a fixed term contract basis of 6 months initially to cover a maternity leave.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Group Financial Accountant and will be assisting with the provision of the groups financial reporting, including financial accounts, the group consolidation, reconciliations, statutory accounts and pension accounts. Ensuring that the Group Reporting timetables are met and that the Audit process is delivered on time and on budget

You would also be getting involved in implementing improvements with current systems and processes.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or equivalent recognised foreign qualification with experience in preparing statutory accounts in various formats. You will come from a financial or professional services background with a great understanding of IFRS.

This is an urgent role with expected start date of early March. Unfortunately, candidates on more than 2 weeks' notice are unable to be considered.
