Financial Accountant

Interim £250 - £300 per day

Marks Sattin are representing this leading business in York who require an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team on an interim role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare the year end statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS
• Prepare monthly VAT returns (including overseas VAT submissions)
• Ownership of month end accounting for VAT, PAYE, NI and subsequent reconciliation of related balance sheets
• Ensure the monthly balance sheet reconciliation file is complete for review, highlighting any areas of concern
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, and coordinate responses to ensure a smooth audit process achieved.

Skills & Experience required:

• Fully qualified accountant, ideally ACA but strong ACCA & CIMA candidates will be considered
• Strong financial reporting experience including month end and stat reporting
• Ability to manage complex processes with multiple inputs
• Excellent communication skills.
