I am currently working with a fast paced, manufacturing business who are looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team to provide support to one of their Business Partners and their wider Finance Function.

This company is a multi-billion pound manufacturing business who has a strong presence within their industry on a global scale.

The role:

Working as a Financial Analyst, this role plays a huge part in the UK Operations Finance Team.

This role will support will provide support to a Business Partner and the wider UK Operations Finance Function as required.

The role will also assist with cost centre reviews, quarterly forecast and annual budget submissions. The Finance Analyst will feed business knowledge into the Finance Operations team in order to support the calculation of accruals and prepayments.

• Assist with the setup of standard costs for new products
• Assist in the preparation of monthly actual reporting, quarterly forecast and annual budget submissions
• Support daily & weekly management reporting & meetings
• Calculate recovery information / variances to standard and present to the business
• Assist in headcount reporting
• Support with inventory provision reviews
• Support the business with productivity reviews - verifying/driving potential savings
• Link with Finance Operations team on any ad-hoc/ system related projects to ensure that the provision of finance information for analysis and reporting meets the needs of the relevant business areas
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements

The role is paying up to £40,000 as a base salary plus company benefits. This position would suit a full or nearly qualified candidate in CIMA/ACCA/ACA (or equivalent) and experience working in a manufacturing or another fast paced industry is required.

You need to have a strong understanding of management accounts, a strong leadership style and be keen to progress and develop your skill set further.
