Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to work for a fast-growing healthcare organisation working primarily remotely but with some travel when required.
The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified and ideally have been trained within an accountancy practice. A strong technical accounting background is essential as is a knowledge around IFRS accounting standards. Management of staff is also crucial as Financial Controller supervise and develop a financial accounting and transaction team. Any exposure to working within healthcare would be a distinct advantage. Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:
- Lead and manage the financial accounting and transactional teams
- Oversee preparation of weekly, monthly and annual financial statements
- Monitor and manage cashflow
- Lead on the external audit process
- Process improvements
- Look to integrate financial processes within the wider group
- Provide senior management with financial information
- Ad-hoc project work
Salary for the role is up to £85,000 + additional benefits
