Start your job searchA leading and reputable name in the FMCG industry, our client is currently undertaking a strong period of exciting growth and expanding their product offering. Having recently acquired two successful businesses, they are now seeking a motivated Financial Controller to lead the integration of the two companies and to develop them as one entity.
Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for the financial reporting of both businesses - providing in-depth insight and analysis into performance and variances. You will also be responsible for all aspects of financial control - overseeing budgets and forecasts and managing requirements in accordance with IFRS. A key requirement of the position is to identify and establish new controls and procedures in line with group requirements - driving change and improving and developing finance to a high standard.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with a strong technical background that has previously managed finance integration and transformation mandates. You will have strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, whilst possessing excellent influencing skills in order to drive change. Hands-on systems skills are required (ideally SAGE) in order to optimise finance processes and controls. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading corporate and manage a high-profile finance integration.
