Marks Sattin are exclusively assisting a rapidly expanding FMCG company based in Kent with the appointment of a new Financial Controlling Manager

Working very closely with the Finance Director, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of the company and give the relevant financial and commercial insights for business decisions.

You will also business partner for the BU and a key member of the Finance team, working along all the departments and the Management Team.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Reporting of P&L
  • Coordinate budget process
  • Preparation and analysis of costs of goods and sourcing of products
  • Perform 'what-if' analysis on product profitability vs benchmark
  • Support and challenge Sales in their commercial negotiations
  • Maintain all templates and develop new tools on Power BI
  • Business partner with sales,marketing and supply chain
  • Prepare monthly performance review with gap analysis
  • Management of 1 direct report -Finance Analyst

The successful candidate must be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have strong analytical, reporting and budget management experience, ideally in the FMCG/retail sector.

This role will suit someone who is either currently working as a Finance Analyst/Business Partner/Finance Manager who is looking to take the next step up.

Experience with Revenue Growth Management is essential

SAP and Power BI is an advantage
