The position involves assisting with the financial reporting team to deliver on the timely production of financial reporting outputs which involes;

• Assistance with the preparation and delivery of monthly of financial reporting data.
• Assistance with the preparation and delivery of consolidated financial reporting on monthly, quarterly and annual basis in accordance with tight deadlines.
• Ownership of accounting cycles that populate the trial balance
• Contribution to companywide products to ensure delivery on strategic objectives for both the company and the insurance group.

The ideal candidate;

• Progression towards being a fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Excellent communication and client relationship building skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
• Experience in the management and motivation of a team of staff to deliver company objectives would be advantageous.
