A boutique Investment Bank is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join its technical accounting team. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Manage the production of the annual statutory accounts of the bank.
• Manage the preparation of monthly financial reports covering the Bank and the London Branch as well as Europe for the London Executive and Asset Liability Committees.
• Manage the preparation of quarterly financial reports to the UK Board of Directors including financial commentary.
• Manage the delivery of the new Pillar 3 reporting disclosure and once in place oversee the production and publication of the document.
• Assist with the day to day management of annual statutory audit; and continuously liaise with the external auditors and the Senior Management to ensure that bottlenecks during the audit process are minimized and that the board, regulatory and Companies House deadlines are met.
• Works closely with the Audit Manager from the external auditors
• A subject matter expert on all accounting policies and standards for London. Provide technical guidance to the front office/business up to Senior management level on all matters relating to accounting standards
• Assist with implementation of new accounting standards, Assist with coordination, communication and implementation monitoring of new accounting standards.
• To take responsibility for the implementation and subsequent reporting of the FINREP regulatory returns.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely submission of the FINREP templates to the PRA.
