Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently working with an International Law firm in Leeds that are looking for a Forensic Accountant to join their expanding team.
Job Description
A Forensic Accountant must have experience in:
- To become an Associate, previous forensic accounting experience is not required, but you need to have a keen interest in the field. Top10 training or audit experience is helpful but by no means essential.
- As a Senior Associate, you will have two years or more forensic accountancy experience (post qualification), ideally working on commercial disputes in areas such as quantification of loss or breach of accounts warranty, and with experience of drafting expert witness reports for litigation or arbitration. You will also have experience of building or working on discounted cash flow models.
Experience
A successful forensic accountant candidates must demonstrate the following skills:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- We are looking for people with intellectual rigour and great analytical skills, who can handle detailed work accurately, but also consider the bigger picture and the commercial aspects of a business.
- You need to be good at building and sustaining working relationships with clients and their lawyers, which means you'll be sociable and make an impact.
- Our people are adaptable and can deal with the uncertainty inherent in our work. They are tenacious, and will not let a problem go without an answer, and can use their initiative to come up with solutions to issues independently.
- We need you to be a great communicator who can draft a persuasive and well-reasoned argument.
- We are committed and motivated to work hard when required, but we also have fun doing it.
What's on Offer
£40,000 to £50,000 plus bonus and benefits
