FP&A Manager

This Life Insurance client is looking for a qualified accountant to join their business as an FP&A Manager. The successful candidate will own the production, understanding, and delivery of all deliverables of the Financial Planning and Analysis function for the European business.

Key responsibilities

• Production, delivery, understanding, and presentation of the company annual financial plan
• Production, delivery, understanding, and presentation of the company Management Information (Financial and Non-Financial)
• Ownership of plan vs actual analysis of result and financial position of PL Re Europe
• Expense budgeting process of PL Re Europe
• Company cost control
• Company result forecasting, result control and timely reporting in to Division
• Business partnering the European Management team and providing ad-hoc analysis
• Understanding and challenging the underwriting result and operating profit results

Skills Knowledge and Experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years post qualified experience:
  • within FP&A department of a Financial Services Companies
  • Ideally in the Life Insurance/Reinsurance sector (not essential)
• Strong MS Excel
