A global business in Oilfield Services currently requires a French Speaking candidate with an excellent background in Finance within the Oil & Gas industry to take on the newly created position of International Finance Manager. This a fantastic opportunity to join a listed business in an exciting role that will look after the Financial Management of the company's African operations.
The International Finance manager will be responsible for over 30 legal entities across 12 French speaking African countries generating in excess of half a billion USD. The managers role is to ensure all internal control processes are in place and that the integrity of the financial data is of a high standard and meets French and US GAAP and SOX regulations. The role will be based inDubaireporting to the International Finance Director.
Candidates will be expected to have deep exposure to both French and US Accounting standards (namely US GAAP), excellent management skills, and preferably knowledge of SAP. Fluency in French is an absolute must for this role, due to the geographical scope of the position and the business language in those countries.
Due to the country-spread of the role, travel up to 50% will be required.
Candidates, as a guideline, should be in possession of the following:
Leading accounting qualification (CPA/CA)
Fluency in French
Direct experience in the Oil & Gas sector
Experience in managing multi-site teams of 10+ people.
10-15 Years experience as a whole.
