Fund Administrator/Accountant

This is a superb Fixed Term Contract (12 months with a view to perm) opportunity for an experienced candidate looking to further their experience and growth within an award-winning fiduciary and fund services provider; a fully independent, owner-managed business established over 50 years.

This role will support a new Fund opening in Ireland.

Duties will include:

• Ensure up to date and accurate bookkeeping of all assigned fund structures
• Preparation of bank reconciliations for a portfolio of clients, including analysis of cash payments and receipts.
• With supervision of a senior member of the team, process initial set-up of an entity, investor and other data cards as required in the accounting system.
• Assisting with the administration of a range of fund structures.
• Working under supervision of a senior member of the team, prepare investor and other reporting requirements of the Fund within client / regulatory timescales.
• Provision of exceptional service levels for clients and related parties throughout the whole Fund life cycle.

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Business or Accounting degree
• Part qualified ACCA / ACA preferably
• Fund Accounting and / or Transfer Agency experience desirable
• Understanding of the requirements of quality client service.
• Demonstrable experience of working in a funds or similar environment at a similar level.
• Deadline oriented; ability to work collaboratively and flexibly.
• Basic knowledge of AML/KYC legislation and requirements an advantage.
