An interesting and challenging contract position, with unique London based private equity firm, where you will be responsible for both the fund accounting & corporate accounting aspects.
- Day Rate: £250-300 per day via umbrella firm
- Duration: 12 months covering maternity leave
- 3 days in the office
This interim fund accountant/corporate accountant role will suit a fund accountant with 2-5 years experience who has been specifically working in an inhouse role within private equity close ended funds.
Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
- Inhouse fund accounting for UK LPs
- Oversight of fund administrators who provide SPV accounting
- Providing capital calls and distributions
- Quarterly investor reporting
- Review of Financial Statements for the funds
- Liquidity management
- Prepare monthly management accountants
- FCA returns
- VAT & Corp Tax
- Financial reporting for the LLP holding company
What our client is looking for in the successful candidate:
- Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
- Inhouse private equity fund accounting/controlling experience 2+ years
- Strong systems skills / good with Excel / well organised
- Good communicator
