Fund Accountant (Private Equity) - 6m+ contract

An excellent opportunity has arisen within a mid-market private equity firm who want to hire a PE Fund Accountant on a contract basis.

Daily rate is in the range £400-£475 per day via umbrella.

This is a hybrid working opportunity (3 days in the office), based in the west end and it's really nice group of people to work with.

Responsibilities to include:

- Dealing with capital calls, drawdowns and distributions

- Producing investment valuations

- Calculating carried interest and maangement fees

- Investor reporting

- Financial statements for funds under IFRS and GAAP

To be considered for this opportunity you MUST meet the following criteria:

- You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA etc)

- You will ideally have 2-5 years experience of performing the fund accounting for private equity funds (either at a fund administrator or inhouse PE fund).

- Be available at short notice (immediate or 1-2 weeks)

- Strong excel skills



For the right candidate there is potential for this role to go permanent after the 6 months contract period is complete!
