My client is a well-respected Infrastructure Fund based in London. They are looking for a Fund Finance Associate to join their team ASAP on an initial 6-month fixed term contract.

This is a commercial role that essentially acts as the bridge between core finance and the front office teams covering a broad variety of tasks.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

• Coordination of periodic board meetings.
• Implement newly designed operational and financial oversight models.
• Prepare finance material and present it at investor, board or AIFM meetings as required.
• Deal with investor questions and queries on finance matters.
• Setting and implementing the accounting policies for new funds
• Providing technical accounting advice to the outsourced fund accounting teams.
• Review monthly / quarterly fund valuation and management accounts.
• Prepare and monitor budgets for the fund level vehicles.
• Cash management and planning, considering availability of equity and debt.
• Review, design, implement and monitor effectiveness of internal financial control procedures.
• Review and sign off of key calculations including capital calls, redemptions, distributions, management fees etc.
• Monitor key performance indicators and review work performed by providers.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent with experience gained in open or closed ended funds (ideally domiciled in Luxembourg). Candidates from Real Estate, Infrastructure or Private Equity businesses will be considered.

This role includes a lot of high-level interactions within the business so experience dealing with and presenting to stakeholders at this level is essential.
