Start your job searchA London based private equity firm (closed ended funds) is seeking an experienced project professional on a 12 month contract basis to support the migration of fund accounting to an Investran accounting system. (Hybrid Working)
This is a broad and interesting project role, which sits in the fund finance team, where the contractor will work autonomously to co-ordinate the workflow and manage the activities of the 3rd party administrator to outsource funds, whilst working with the business to ensure that they bed down good processes and designing the finance system in such a way that helps with future reporting.
You'll be working with nice people who are conscientious and work very collaborately to acheive their goals.
Only candidates who have experience of migrating fund accounting to 'Investran' will be considered.
Responsibilities may include but won't be limited to:
- Project Managing the work of 3rd party administrators to ensure that change requests are actioned properly and in a timely manner
- Mapping of finance data to new GL codes in Investran & reconciliation of data
- Troubleshooting & resolving issues
- Coming up with ideas to enhance the enrichment of the system and highlighting future issues
- Gap Analysis between existing processes and future state
- Documentation of business requirements and new processes
What are we looking for in a candidate?
- Qualified Accountant / Finance background
- 10 years + experience in close ended funds, alternative investments sector (preferably private equity or credit)
- 3+ years' experience in change management / BA / project management positions
- Knowledge and experience of Investran (essential)
- Assertive, self-starter with great communication skills
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months contract
Day rate: £500-£700 per day depending on experience
