A central London based travel company is currently seeking a Group Accountant to be involved in the rapid growth and expansion of the business. This permanent opportunity combines management and technical accounting aspects as well as statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly statutory and management accounts
• Responsible for the statutory financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations of a number of entities
• Ensure accurate and timely sign off of audited financial statements through the management of external audit
• Identify developments in corporate accounting and IFRS reporting standards
• Ad Hoc analysis

Candidate Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant ACA or equivalent
• 2-3 years post qualification commercial experience
• Previous SAP and/or Hyperion systems experience
• Experience with preparing statutory accounts under IFRS or FRS102
• Time management and ability to prioritise work load effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
