Marks Sattin are currently working with a rapidly expanding business based near the centre of Leeds who are looking to recruit a Group Assistant Accountant. This business is offering study support and the opportunity to progress within the business whilst it continues to grow. Some of the duties of this role will include:

• Maintain fixed asset registers for all companies.
• Update and post accruals and prepayments.
• Competition of month end close of ledgers and run month end reports.
• To assist with completion of monthly overhead reports.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any anomalies.
• Raise manual invoices for inter-company recharges
• Assist with the audit process and statutory accounts and tax return preparation.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets.
• To complete ad hoc analyses and any other duties, including reception cover, to support the Group Accountant where required
• Maintain cash books including the foreign currency accounts are posted to the nominal ledger

This role would be well suited to somebody who has completed AAT and looking to continue studying, or is currently studying ACCA/CIMA.
