Start your job searchMarks Sattin are delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with a leading listed business services group based in the UK. They require a strong technical Group Financial Controller to lead the group finance team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Year end/interim reporting
- Production of the Group consolidation under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Primary audit point of contact and responsible for liaising with the subsidiary entities finance departments to ensure a smooth audit process for the group
- Preparation of the PLC Year End and Interim accounts for publication
- Preparation of the audit files and statutory accounts for the "Head Office" companies under UK GAAP/IFRS
- Technical analysis and production of Board papers supporting areas of financial reporting judgement
- Budgets and forecasts
- Monthly reporting
- Internal control
- Production of the weekly Group consolidated cash flow report
This opportunity is ideally suited to a highly motivated individual with exceptional technical ability and strong commercial awareness. You must be able to communicate financial information to non finance people so your ability to build strong relationships through out the business is key. You will be a qualified accountant, preferably with an big four pedigree and a progressive and logical career journey to date with a proven track record including exposure within a multinational listed business.
