Marks Sattin are currently recruiting a Head of Finance Business Partnering on behalf of a Global, PE backed Professional Services business . This is an imperative role within the business and offers huge potential for the successful individual.

Responsibilities will include:

• The business partnering of the CFO, CRO, CPO and other group functions
• Look after group projects (business cases, appraisal, benefits tracking)
• Develop and deliver insight, analysis, and value accretive activity across the business with wider responsibility for delivery of Group financial planning activities
• Responsible for developing strong analytical output that drives business decisions.
• Creation, development, and improvement of forecasting/MI models around Cash Flow and P&L Driving EBITDA growth for eventual investor exit strategy of which the role will play a key part
• Support long-term business planning, with the implementation of the company's strategic plans including a potential exit
• Ownership of Group business best in class insight that can drive good decisions
• Carve out headroom for valuable ad-hoc work - this is likely to be a material part of the role and may include scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and other important analysis to support discussions both internally and with our investors / bondholders/the market
• Take reporting from the BSU and use it to drive strong, value adding insight and challenge to the business. Drive and shape regional performance sessions and budgeting / forecasting insight
• Identify need for new information and analysis, developing proactive 'thought pieces' using built up group wide business knowledge and expertise
• Build strong engagement with the BSU and central / specialist finance teams to drive continuous improvement reporting and high quality, timely financial information

This opportunity is ideally suited to an qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Accountant with Professional Services experience being advantageous. The nature of the role demands that the job holder has a combination of strong financial skills, excellent business awareness/acumen and the drive to deliver results. It is essential that they can analyse a high level of complex business data, be able to distil from this the key business insights and have the verbal and written communication skills to drive appropriate action.
