Gi Group is one of the largest companies in the staffing industry headquartered in Milan, Italy. The business has acquired several different brands and portfolios operating in more than 40 countries across Europe, APAC, the Americas and Africa. This particular role of HR Business Partner will focus on our UK partners in the southern regions across London, Reading, Bristol, Surrey (to name a few).
You will ideally have a minimum of 12 months experience working within HR in multisite based environment and hold a CIPD qualification (or working towards). The role will be based in our London office in Clerkenwell.
Accountabilities:
- Assisting the HR Director with generalist HR matters
- Providing advice as required to Line Managers in relation to employee performance, conduct and absence
- Identifying HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans, translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Delivering key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, restructuring, resourcing, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement and performance management.
- Providing advice to employees in relation to their employment with Gi Group
- Keep all HR files up to date (both paper based and through on-line HR system)
- Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures as necessary
- Provide support for disciplinary and grievance meetings (by preparing administration associates with the meeting and attending meeting if required to do so).
- Preparing and issuing contracts of employment and new starter packs
- Generating HR reports and statistics
- Carry out exit interviews
