Start your job searchMarks Sattin are working in partnership with an exciting and innovative Tech/Fintech organisation in the West Midlands to recruit an Interim Finance Director. The position is a part-time post at 3-4 days per week. The position will report to the CEO and COO, and will provide financial leadership across the organisation.
My client are going through a period of substantial growth and now require an experienced and hands-on Finance Director to lead the finance function, which consists of a Financial Controller, a Management Accountant, Financial Accountant and a Transactional Accounts team.
The Finance Director will:
- Advise the Board of Directors on all matters relating to financial performance and provide guidance on financial strategy and growth plans
- Leading the development and ugrade of the bespoke inhouse finance system
- Ensuring policies and procedures are firmly embedded to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company
- Leading and managing the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning process
- Ensuring legal and regulatory documentation is filed, and monitoring internal controls and compliance with laws and regulations
- Develop the 5 year business plan
- Deliver robust financial modelling to assess potential risks and opportunities
- Manage and provide excellent leadership to the finance team and drive performance at all times
- Provide sound communication to the Executive Board and influence where necessary
To be considered you must be:
- A Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- An experienced Finance Director with experience leading and driving performance across the team
- Experienced within the Tech/Fintech (preferred)
- Able to start immediately or at very short notice
