We are seeking a Financial Analysis and Planning Manager for a market leading business in Birmingham on a 9mth interim basis.

Responsibilities

  • Production of weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports using multiple complex data sources
  • Working closely with management, provide fully reconciled productivity analysis on a weekly and monthly basis, resolving variances
  • Management accounts, and assisting with budget management and control
  • Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Drive change throughout the organisation
  • Identifying and analysing current and past trends in key performance indicators
  • Providing financial support, including cost benefit analysis, on any major investment or expansion initiatives.

Person Specification

  • Qualified ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA
  • 3 years + PQE within a similar or related role in industry

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical mind set and technical ability
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Significant data manipulation experience
  • MS Access skills would be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; client focused with ability to build relationships across finance and non-finance teams and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Confident and works well in a small close knit accounts team

This role is offered on a salary between £45,000 - £50,000 plus benefits package. Those who are available immediately or soon to be available will be of interest to our client.
