- Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role entails the timely and precise preparation of monthly management accounts for reporting to both management and global stakeholders.
- The successful candidate will excel in detailed variance analysis and will collaborate with the transactional team on Payables, Receivables, and reporting.
- Additionally, this role will support key financial objectives aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies within the team and the broader business.
- Execute month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and journal preparation adhering to relevant principles.
- Prepare monthly Management Accounts reconciled to TB and conduct monthly variance analysis and exception reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls through month-end folder preparation and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Facilitate Group reporting by liaising with regional and global teams, submitting commentaries, and preparing quarterly and year-end packages.
- Engage in business partnering activities, providing analytical support and adding value to operational teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, reviewing processes, and implementing enhancements for better control and efficiency.
- Address ad hoc queries from Finance Plus and undertake additional projects as required.
- ACA/CA/CAANZ Qualified
- Experience in Audit and/or an FP&A function
- Intermediate/advanced level proficiency in Excel.
- Organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing work allocation and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic with a proactive attitude, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
