My client is a leading AIM listed organisation who is currently going through a strong period of growth and is looking to recruit an Internal Auditor. Working in the Internal Audit team, you will be responsible for the monitoring of strong internal control and risk management.

You will be responsible for:-

• Ensuring that control deficiencies and risk impacts are escalated so that root cause analysis can be performed and remedial actions taken.
• Comply with the information security policy and procedures.
• To identify actual and potential weaknesses in the Group's controls through assurance and consultancy work
• Comply with all regulatory procedures applicable to the role.
• Undertake financial audits to ensure effective controls are in place
• To develop and build rapport with clients, negotiating diplomatically to ensure that control recommendations are accepted and implemented by the Group.

To be considered for the role you will ideally have a professional qualification such as IIA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA. You will have exposure working within a controls based environment and have strong written and verbal communicational skills.
