Start your job searchI am currently working with a leading Irish PLC who are seeking to hire an Internal Auditor to join their Finance team. In the role you will be reporting into the Internal Audit Manager.
Your duties will include carrying out multi scope reviews working as part of a team as well as individually. You will provide practical advice guidance and offer solutions in regards to the issues that arise during audits/reviews. Along with this you will promote and develop improvements to risk management and internal processes in the business. You will also liaise with more senior groups to deal with the management of issues and solutions.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop in a number of areas including developing their risk & control and governance experience, gaining knowledge of business operations throughout the group,divisions, cluster and op co levels. You will also be given the opportunity to improve your negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills.
You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a large accounting firm or similar accounting/business experience. The role would ideally be suited to a person who enjoys travel as their will be a minimum 40% travel involved giving the successful candidate excellent international experience. Upon joining the company after completing 18 months on the Audit team you will be allowed move internally to another team should you find a more suitable position or wish to diversify your experience.
